NCAPS focuses the majority of its actuarial consulting efforts
on its captive management clients. Though we will not develop feasibility
studies or year-end reserve studies for our clients so as to avoid any
perception of a conflict of interest, we provide them an invaluable and
cost-saving benefit by analyzing and evaluating their outside actuarial
studies, and ensuring that they fully understand the nuances and
ramifications of the studies. In-house we will identify and test
alternative financial approaches (i.e. conduct "what-if" analyses) to
meet our clients' needs, then determine the ideal solution before
requesting an outside actuarial report, thus saving our client time
and expense.
NCAPS also provides actuarial consulting to those seeking peer
analysis of their reserve studies, rate reviews, or other financial projects.
NCAPS handles all of the day-to-day financial / accounting needs
of its captive management clients. This includes management of the daily
operating account, producing and managing agents' account currents,
handling all reinsurance financial transactions, communicating monthly
financials to the Board of Directors, and coordinating services of the
independent investment manager and auditor.
NCAPS maintains strong relationships with both domestic and
European reinsurers, having successfully arranged professional and
general liability covers with these markets over the years. We will
analyze our client's reinsurance needs, identify and evaluate the
benefits of various reinsurance structures, then meet with brokers
and reinsurers to market and acquire the best terms available. And
we absorb all travel expense associated with the placement and
maintenance of your reinsurance cover.

with the Board and Committee members of the captives we manage in
order to ensure that there are no "surprises" during Board and
Committee meetings. We coordinate agendas, arrange meetings and
conference calls, and conduct the meetings efficiently and

or opportunities that are developing, alternative solutions to those
issues, and the ramifications of each alternative solution, so as to
assist the Board and Committees in reaching the best decisions. We
coordinate all legal and tax work with the captive's corporate
counsel and tax advisor to ensure that all issues are handled in a
thorough but cost-effective manner.
